Compalistics today owes its existence to the Group’s previous specialist engineering experience in designing and manufacturing aerothermal test rigs and components for the aerospace industry.
Coupled with a deep understanding of engineering and modern materials, Compalistics has established advanced Research & Development facilities to investigate how a wide range of materials behave in adverse environments, particularly (but not exclusively) where combustion and high temperatures may be involved.
Compalistics broad experience, innovative and technically rigorous approach, have produced practical and pragmatic solutions to many 'engineering' issues which have on occasions.
Compalistics now enjoys a leading position as a combustion specialist and materials innovator undertaking both client and in-house projects.
Testing and Metrication, central to Compalistics activities is the ability to replicate 'life' situations and thereby understand the circumstances and conditions that apply to a product in use. To this end Compalistics has established tensile and structural testing capabilities and is developing a comprehensive environmental and textiles 'Burn Test' resource.
